Manually Adding Cookies

Efilli offers a feature that allows you to manually add cookies to your inventory. If some cookies are missing after a scan or if you need to track a custom cookie, this feature is for you.


When Should You Use It?

  • Some cookies may go undetected during automatic scans

  • You may want to pre-add and track a specific cookie manually

  • Custom cookies can be added to ensure full compliance with your site's cookie policy


1. Go to the Cookies section

Log in to your Efilli panel and click on the “Cookies” tab in the left-hand menu. Here, you can view, edit, or add new cookies.

2. Start the cookie creation process

Click the “New Cookie” button at the top of the page. A form will appear to enter the cookie’s details.

3. Fill in the cookie details

  • Cookie Name: Enter the name of the cookie you want to add

  • Domain: Specify the domain or website the cookie belongs to

  • Category: Select the correct category (e.g., Essential, Performance, Functional, Targeting)

  • Description: Provide information such as its purpose, function, and storage duration

4. Create the cookie

Once all fields are filled and accurate, click “Create” to add the cookie. You can always edit or delete the cookie later if needed.
