Reviewing Cookie Scan Results
This feature allows you to review the results of your cookie scans in detail. It lists all detected cookies and provides comprehensive information for each one. With filtering and sorting tools, you can quickly locate specific cookie types or cookies from particular providers.
What Information Is Displayed?
Each cookie entry includes:
Cookie Name – The name of the cookie detected during the scan
Provider – The service or platform that sets the cookie (e.g., Google, Facebook)
Cookie Duration – How long the cookie is stored (e.g., session, 30 days, 1 year)
Category – Purpose of the cookie (e.g., essential, analytics, advertising, functional)
Last Detected Date – When the cookie was last identified by the scanner
Filter & Sort Options
To help manage large cookie inventories, you can use built-in tools to:
Filter by Category: View only analytics, advertising, essential, or functional cookies
Filter by Provider: See cookies from a specific provider (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok)
Sort by Duration: Identify cookies with the longest or shortest lifespan
Filter by Last Scan Date: Focus on recently detected or outdated cookies
Example Use Case
Want to see only third-party advertising cookies? → Filter by Category = Advertising and Provider Type = Third-Party
Need to check cookies added after a specific date? → Use the Last Detected Date filter to narrow down your list.
